History

From the Latin meaning “fortified towns” – towns in highlands or mountains. At present many of the towns in our region – some dating back to the Roman Empire – are found on mountains and were originally constructed as fortresses or most likely as barracks.
This brand is a symbol of the deep influence of “ROMA” in both the Republic and the Empire.
One advantage at the time was the easy access provided by the ITER 29, one of the most important pathways in the Iberian Peninsula, which led to the capital city “Emérita Augusta”. This pathway opened up other markets and ports where ROMA goods could be purchased.
